About this deal

When she's not bathing in the tears of her readers, she's watching paranormal shows and wishing she was a mermaid. I hide within the walls, casting my judgement for those that reek of evil, singing lullabies to their rotting souls.

I probably would have been able to continue and give this a decent rating if it wasn’t for the TW// lack of consent, supposedly cnc mess. Obviously, loving Adeline and Zade was like accepting the dark side of my own mind so gotta say this book is like a personal read for me and is gonna stay on top for forever! This review contains minor spoilers, nothing unpredictable or what you haven’t already seen on booktok. now before i get into it i gotta say that even though this book is marketed at 18+, i personally consider it 21+ it can be very triggering for some so tread lightly. It is a dark romance that contains graphic violence, dub/non con and stalking between main characters, explicit sexual situations, kinks such as degradation, gun play, and somnophilia, and deals with subject matters such as child trafficking, child deaths, and human sacrifice.

The book ends on a cliff-hanger, leaving readers curious about how the dark and intriguing novel will be resolved. no se porque les gusta leer violaciones y romantizarlas, les aconsejo que vayan a terapia, "pero es ficción" me chupa un huevo y la mitad del otro, esta "ficcion" ejemplifica perfectamente las creencias/pensamientos de la autora. Like maybe he becomes really great and they have a "sweet" connection at some point, but I don't care. It's where the elite send their unruly prodigies to be reformed so we will become more successful than our predecessors. Carlton's "Haunting Adeline" transports readers to a world of dark romance, heightened suspense, and an examination of the eerie connections between Adeline and her enigmatic stalker.

When reading a “dark” romance, you expect a little more depth and triggering themes to accompany the story. Some of the technologies we use are necessary for critical functions like security and site integrity, account authentication, security and privacy preferences, internal site usage and maintenance data, and to make the site work correctly for browsing and transactions. There were moments I thought it was a bit too much especially when it came to the relationship between the main characters. The ratings/reviews displayed here may not be representative of every listing on this page, or of every review for these listings. And let’s face it, we don’t necessarily always pick up dark romance books because of the great storylines, so I think that’s an achievement!

I know this is a DARK THRILLER STALKER romance (this book shouldn't even be associated with the word romance but moving on) I don’t care, I want the bare minimum!Etsy’s 100% renewable electricity commitment includes the electricity used by the data centres that host Etsy. Trigger warnings emphasise the need for caution by reflecting the book's intense and potentially upsetting themes. These are also not classified as romance, which I thought was surprising considering I learned of these books from individuals on TikTok that normally only suggest romance books. All the while, he is attempting to gain the trust of a society that is sacrificing children on altars and then drinking their blood.

I'm going to start out with this because I feel like otherwise it'll get lost in the end of my review and no one will care but can we please stop making sapphic relationships a joke? I kept seeing art of Zade but kept pushing reading this series off as I didn’t know how I’d feel about the stalker aspects of the book. So don’t read the books unless you can handle being reminded how messed up the people in this world actually are.The plot is fantastic and never leaves you wanting, with mysterious and sharp twists and turns that build higher and higher with every page. anywayyys, I literally smacked my forehead and dragged my hand down my face so many times while reading this book. And to think that I thought I couldn't possibly hate this fmc more and she pulls the 'i'm not like other girls' line. To be fair, at some parts it was so bad it was good so it proves to be a really good comedy if you’re interested!
