About this deal

If all this is getting a bit long-winded for you, then just read this: ONCE YOU SCREW THE COACHBOLTS INTO THE RAWPLUGS IN THE WALL, THEY WILL NOT COME OUT WITHOUT DAMAGE TO THE RAWPLUG/THE WALL/YOUR SANITY (delete as applicable). There are plenty of reasons not to use the feet that come in the box and instead take advantage of your wall space. Eliminate annoying glare with easy tilting operation and customize your viewing angle from anywhere in the room, up to 160° horizontal full motion swivelling feature left to right (depending on the size of your TV) and vertical tilt angle ranging from -5° to +8°.

This mount from Bontec is sturdy enough to support TVs up to 82 inches and up to 60kg, and we like that its flat position allows you to place the TV close to the wall. I now have 5 wall mounted TV's three of which are mounted on a tilt and swivel mounts, but this is the only mount that supports the TV without a wobble when extended. The bracket will rotate a fully 90° but with a TV attached to the bracket you will be limited on how close you get to the full 90°. Thinking back I’ve fitted the bracket to three curved TV’s and it was as straight forward as for a flat TV, but I do remember having to use the suptek kit because I need longer spacers for the vesa rails.

After ensuring the holes lined up perfectly, central within the wall bracket mounting holes and to the bracket and line I had drawn, I removed the bracket from the wall. If you do end up purchasing the Invision bracket make sure you pop back here and let me know how you got on with the installation. So I was now stuck with a bracket half attached to the wall, with four bolts I could not risk undoing, and two others that were not held in properly. Before letting go pull down gently to test TV is located securely whilst keeping a firm grip of the TV. You see plasterboard fixings are based on handling a downward force, once the TV bracket is pulled away from the wall a outward force is then added to the stress on the fixings. Mounting your telly lets you change the angle of the screen, gives you more room for furniture and, as the set is less likely to topple over, it’s safer for kids too. Everybody hates stripping wallpaper, but I have some neat little tricks I want to share with you to remove wallpaper with a steamer, fast!
