She’s not very good at waving to crowds and royal headdresses just aren’t her thing – her hair is too spiky and wild. This book was one of the few books that I have really disliked and cannot think of one person I would recommend it to.

Not much was made of the reveals of the various murderers; they were sort of thrown toward the end of the story, but it didn't really matter because any mystery aficionado could have figured it out about a third of the way through the book. She’d much rather be back at her old school, with her old friends, who are much more fun to play with. Since it's paranormal fiction, I knew I could get into it, and it's set in Kentucky, which isn't far from where I live.The murder mysteries are pretty intriguing, and I think throughout the book, no fewer than 5 deaths are investigated. In an instant, a reluctant Kate finds herself at the centre of the case, herself a suspect, and her past under the unwelcome scrutiny of Sheriff Delaney. Harriet has dreamed about publishing a book with her gothic and spiky character, Victoria Stitch for over ten years. They are so sweet together and would look great stitched out on a t-shirt or canvas tote for Halloween!

Generic Used Book Descriptions: Very Good: These books have been read, but they are still in good condition. But between a potion mishap and magic pox fluffballs bouncing around all over the place, Isadora starts feeling a bit guilty. Bursting with 50 magical winter activities, including puzzles, colouring-in and look-and-find, for hours of spellbinding fun! Ok, I gave this book one star because the story had potential, but this book frustrated me like not many do. Just think of all the books that (often deservedly) are lost to time because they were published in paper–paper that wasn’t acid-free. He’s a little different, like her, so Isadora’s going to have to try and find a way of introducing him to her friends without them getting too much of a shock.
